You guessed it – I am the sacred rebel in our family 🙂
For most of my life, I have made this wrong. Being hard on myself was the norm as I didn’t know another way.
Looking back, I realise that being South African born to Swiss parents would create much room for big differences. We have them. In spades. I am at the beginning of the 6th decade of my life journey and the views of the family have not adapted. It has created conflict within for my entire life…until recently.
What changed?
I gave myself permission to be the unique person I am, with my ‘weird’ sense of humour and ‘mad’ ways.
I now experience a renewed perspective and a clearer view of what I wish to create, be, do and have in my life. The huge advantage is that I do not care what others think. There is a deep knowing that I am beautiful inside and out and it does not matter how this presents itself – quirky, crazy, mad, funny, chaotic, calm – its all perfectly ok.
My invitation to you is to put on your big girl or boy pants and face whatever you need to in your inner and outer reality so that you can make the difference in this world that you chose to come and make. Deep inside, a part of you knows this is true and also knows what your sacred rebel role is. Find this part and become besties with it.
If we keep thinking, doing and being in the same old mindset and lifestyle, we create more of the same.
Find your gifts and strengths as the sacred rebel you are and stop making yourself wrong. This is purely about you.
Pull the conformist wool off from over your eyes and come and join the Sacred Rebel Tribe!
