Beneath the Surface: Where Your True Fulfilment Awaits
On the surface, it all looks good.
The impressive career, the thriving business. The financial security. The professional accolades.
But beneath it all there’s a growing sense of discontent, a quiet (or not-so-quiet) inner voice asking:
“Is this really it?”
You wake up each day, plough through your to do list, attend meetings, deal with emails, confidently make decisions. You tick the boxes of what success is “supposed” to look like. Yet, there’s a heaviness in your chest, a nagging sense that you’re just going through the motions.
You’re not unhappy and yet you’re not totally happy. You feel guilty for even questioning your life as many aspire to have what you have but that feeling of being stuck or unfulfilled isn’t something to ignore or dismiss, it’s a signal. It’s your deeper self trying to get your attention, to remind you that you were never meant to settle for a life that just looks good on the outside.
As this is the CocoHub it seem appropriate to bring us back to vibrational energy and this quote by Einstein seems to say it all:
“Everything is energy and that’s all there is to it. Match the frequency of the reality you want and you cannot help but get that reality. It can be no other way. This is not philosophy. This is physics.”
So whether you have a successful corporate career or a thriving business, let me ask you:
Are you clear on the life you truly want to create?
Not the life others expect of you.
Not the life dictated by your corporate title or peers.
Not the life driven by fear of losing what you’ve already built.
But the life where you feel, free and aligned.
The life where you wake up excited, where work feels fun, where your actions are infused with purpose and impact.
If you’re feeling that pull towards entrepreneurship or a more purpose-driven life, it’s not a coincidence. It’s not a “midlife crisis.” It’s a calling, an invitation to step into the version of yourself that’s been waiting beneath the surface.
Imagine a life where:
- You spend your days creating, building, and leading something that truly matters to you.
- Your work reflects your values, your gifts, and your highest aspirations.
- You experience not just financial success, but emotional and spiritual fulfilment.
So ask yourself:
- What do you really want, not just from your career, but from life?
- What passions have you side-lined for the sake of stability?
- What legacy do you want to leave behind?
- Who would you be if you finally gave yourself permission to fully own your dreams?
And remember, this isn’t just philosophy.
It’s physics.
When you align your energy with the reality you desire, you set in motion forces that can’t help but bring it into being.
So, what’s stopping you from aligning today?

I am so inspired after reading your post, Louise! There seems to be an “awakening” of how much we live to please others. Thank you for highlighting it, and for sharing what to look out for.
