When I contemplate why I do what I do, it evokes a feeling of joy and serenity.
My why is me. My why is what I value. My why is the constant that anchors me into this life experience. My why is what lights the spark in my heart and gives it permission to share itself and thrive.
So I hear you asking: What is your WHY?
My WHY is world peace.
I can hear you groan and see you rolling your eyes at this very clichéd aspiration. So allow me to share it from my unique perspective.
We all know, even if it is only deep down inside and not often consciously acknowledged, that the world is in chaos. All our attempts at fixing, finding and covering up the mess that we have made; while simultaneously denying, resisting and stubbornly refusing to get out of our own way to allow for a new solution to appear, have failed. We are trying to change things on a flawed, outdated system outside of ourselves.
What is the plot twist that is required? Look within.
Look within your own heart, your own world, your own universe, for the chaos that you hold.
The Universal Law of Correspondence states: “As within, so without.”
How we are within ourselves is reflected on the outside. The world we each perceive is projected from our thoughts and emotions and made visible. If we don’t like what we see on the outside, it is totally counter-productive to try and fix it on the outside. We are breaking the law. We have to go to the source-point and clear up the internal chaos of our own thoughts and feelings that are the cause of the chaos. It is how we restore order – and therefore peace within – which can then be reflected and made manifest on the outside. We are in harmony with the law.
Disrupting the causes of chaos and restoring order within leads to love, freedom and peace. When this becomes becomes our naturally embodied way of life, we have re-discovered our zen. Love, freedom and peace are the way for life to thrive.
I disrupt chaos, restore order and therefore peace, to gift this to the world and to all life. This is me and this is my why.
As peace prevails within me, it prevails on Earth and Everywhere.
Thank you, Sibylle. Viewing it as a law makes our inner work a non-negotiable if we’re to contribute to the change we want to see. Love the accompanying tune!
