When so much is happening and the world’s pull of untimely situations takes us to a place of utter depletion and we feel like we are not flying high with inspiration and drive… that is okay. We all experience both lows and highs, but sometimes the pull is so strong we remain in the low-frequency field for a longer period, and when we look at our reflection in the mirror, we see our dim, depleted self.
For me, during these moments, it is when I run to find something to uplift me—like a chocolate slab and another and maybe another one right after that. Well and good, some say; yeah, some ask why. I say don’t judge or diagnose me. I am okay. I know what is good for me and what isn’t. I know when I have gone over the tipping point—when that chocolate has become my dominant force. I also remember it is a time to embrace and care for my sustenance with extra love and attention.
So, when so much is happening, I remind my depleted self to look at my reflection and say: Remember, “I am whole, complete, and glowing magnificence, and hell yeah, I am going to enjoy this chocolate!”
This is so important, Amor. Thank you! It reminds me of something that arrived in my inbox yesterday, courtesy of Abraham-Hicks: “If you believe that something is good, and you do it, it benefits you. If you believe that something is bad, and you do it, it is a very detrimental experience.”
