Experience of life:
Constant mental juggling leading to a lack of presence in most if not all interactions.

“Attention is the rarest and purest form of generosity.”

Attributed to Simone Weil, a French philosopher and mystic. She emphasized the importance of attention in her writings, viewing it as a powerful and selfless act that demonstrates true care and connection with others.

Giving someone your full, undivided attention is one of the most valuable gifts you can offer. In a world filled with distractions, truly listening and being present for someone shows deep respect and care.

It’s a reminder that, sometimes, the most meaningful act of kindness isn’t in what we give materially, but in how we show up for others—by giving them the gift of our focused presence.

Definitely a timely reminder for me as I try to juggle many competing priorities, so I thought I’d share you with too.
